Ways that We Make an Impact

The Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) HOPE Foundation is a nonprofit organization that seeks to improve the lives of individuals and families in the community who are impacted by cancer treatment. The foundation does this by providing supportive services and resources to all oncology and hematology patients, families, and caregivers.

Emerging from the patient assistance fund at Nebraska Cancer Specialists, the NCS HOPE Foundation largely serves as a way to provide to patients in need of financial assistance through services and supportive resources such as:

  • Rent and utilities assistance
  • Groceries and comfort items
  • Transportation/fuel cards
  • Referrals to community resources
  • Disease education
  • Fitness programs
  • Bereavement
  • Respite/child care
  • Caregiver support
